Universal binary installer?

Hello,

As of today, there is still not an installer from Meeting Maker that
works on Intel based Macs. As a workaround, we've installed on PPC
based machines and created a zipped archive that works for Intel
based machines. Ideally, a new installer from Meeting Maker would be
Universal (for both Intel and PPC machines), but we have not heard
anything about an upcoming release. Does anyone have any additional
information I can pass along to our installed base?

Hello,

PeopleCube has a beta installer that will allow you to install the Meeting Maker native client onto an Intel based Mac. The Universal Binary client is currently under development.

If you'd like to get a copy of the beta installer please contact PeopleCube Support.

Hi Kellie,

Thanks for the response.

We received the link for the beta version of the Intel based
installer, but we were wondering when the Universal Binary may be
available? It would be much easier for your company to release the
Universal version, as you wouldn't have to maintain two separate
installers. Additionally, it would be greatly appreciated if you
would update the knowledge base on PeopleCube's support site for
Meeting Maker to reflect this development. Currently, the only
mention of an Intel based Mac installer was posted in January of this
year (#3276).

I assume this is still the beta installer that assumes the user has
admin privileges on the machine, and if not fails?
