MM to Exchange Migration

We are investigating possible migration paths to transfer MM data (v8.5.3
)
to MS Exchange 2003 calendar. The decision has already been made (not by

me) to move to Exchange, so I'm not debating whether we should or shouldn
't
move, but rather ask if anyone has gone down this route and is willing to

share their migration path/experience with us. Has anyone migrated data

through client and/or server tools, for example? One problem we envisage
by
migrating through the client is recurring events being transferred as a

series of single events. Any other problems we must be aware of? Has anyo
ne
used a server tool (bought or developed themselves) to aid migration?

Your help is much appreciated.

We've gone through this for a few folks and found that the easiest
way to migrate data is to use a PDA as an intermediary. It gets a
bit more complicated if you're using a Windows Mobile 5 device, but
it's still very doable.

We have used the PDA technique to manage the migration of a handful of
users. It is simple and easy to execute for smaller groups of users.

However our big challenge in the conversion of Meeting Maker data to another
platform is maintaining the group meeting aspects. Techniques using PDA
sync and file import/export alter meetings into activies and strip
attenddees of thier ability to cancel meetings or rescheudule them.
