The Meeting Maker Support web page doesn't have an answer for this...
Aside from using Remove Duplicates add-in on {Palm Desktop and having
the Palm overwrite MM, is there a way to remove duplicate meetings from
within MM?

I've been using Undupe from Steven's Creek software for years to
solve this problem:

Haven't found a better solution.

Is everything getting duplicated?

If so that could be two problems.

1) The client stores info in the mm32client folder. Delete those
files and relogin

2) The meeting maker server has a neat little "feature" where it hunts
for database files on the server. If you copied files for a backup.
Don't leave them on the server. I once had them in the trash and it
still found them and still tried to use them.

Deleting them made my problems go away.

Note: this info was from the meeting maker support person.......

Maybe you can try deleting/renaming the local DB under the user ID while
off-line then reconnect. It worked up through 7.3.

Hello;

We are looking for feedback on Meeting Maker 8.5, Intellisync, and Internet
Explorer 7. Campus users are complaining that after upgrading to IE7 their
Intellisync for Meeting Maker is no longer working. If the user rolls-back
to IE6 it appears to resolve the issue. Is anyone aware of a work-around or
fix for this issue so that Intellisync will continue to work with IE7?
Peoplecube is stating that because of the upcoming 8.6 upgrade and
Notifylink migration that they would not support this IE7 issue. Please let
me know if you are aware of any workaround of fix for the IE7/Intellisync
problem.

Thank you for your time in this matter.

You have to do it by hand if you "infect" the server.

The problem happens with the handhelds having a calendar info on them.

If you purge the hand hand, you will not see dups.

Stevenscreek makes an excellent product.

The users that have a tiny calandar, I tell them to hand delete. If
they have a big calendar, they get the program.....
