Having seen no feedback on the new MM 8.6 Palm conduits, I'm curious as
to whether anyone is following this mailing list any more.

Or is it that few here upgraded to 8.6?

When we upgraded; they were not available.

However, with the new NotifyLink, I have found there hasn't been a need
for them.

Do you not use any legacy palm devices such as the tungsten t3 or older
devices? It is our impression that those devices are not supported by
NotifyLink.

We use the 8.6 conduits (Mac version). They still have some hour-off
issues with a few meetings and the conduits will say they are still
version 8.5.1 in the Get Info window. I vote it a resounding "better
than nothing" for our Treo users.

We are still on 8.5.3 because of the Palm Conduits situation. We are
currently looking into upgrading now that a solution is present but have yet
to do testing.

I use the new 8.6 Palm conduits to sync my Sony Clie (Palm OS 4),on my home
family computer using MS XP and it works fine for me.
Additionally, I sync my Treo 650 wirelessly using NotifyLink.
Works great!

8.6 provided us with no additional benefits and potentially some head
aches so we did not upgrade.

NotifyLink eliminated the use of MMCO. So for us there was some
benefit. ;)

8.6 provided us with no additional benefit, and the complete nightmare that
is represented by a major upgrade.
